Agat Bay roughly runs from the Orote Peninsula in the north to Facpi Point in the south with the village Agat in between. It is a great place for macro photography, muck diving and those willing to spent time searching the unexplored patch reefs. Several small islands such as Neye Island, Alutom, Bangi Island and Anae can offer pristine snorkeling and diving. This area is also sheltered from strong winds which make it possible to dive here year-around even in the hurricane season.
Dive site the Blue Hole is one of the most popular dive sites on Guam. It is a great vertical chimney dropping more than 60 feet, where you can exit and explore a wicked wall while continuing to the surface. South of the Namo River runoff, things tend to get even more excited. Its sandy channels are filled with rays, while mantas and eagle rays can be spotted out in the blue. Many divers prefer to stick to the well established dive sites where you know what to find, but for those with time and who like unspoilt reefs, this area can be highly rewarding.
