The Main Channel is not often visited and heavily trafficked as all boats use this channel to visit sites all around the island.

A dive in Yap's Main Channel entrance can be exhilarating. Timed just right, you can view the remains of yet another shipwreck, circled by schooling trevallys and black snapper. Even rare schools of Hammerhead sharks were spotted and large manta rays were circling around a cleaning station. As we are always on the lookout for new cleaning stations, finding that the Main Channel offers exceptional diving as well was important to the future of Yap's dive industry.
