Weno, formerly Moen, is the capital and most crowded island in Chuuk State. It is the place with Chuuk State's only international airport and where most visitors reside. It is easy to book dive tours, easy to rent equipment and service is good to outstanding. In the east of Weno, you can find the old Japanese Sapuk Lighthouse which offers stunning views on the bay and lagoon. There is also a huge gun, a bunker and a Shinto shrine well worth a visit.
